 Albatross a spectacular bird in flight 

With a wing span of 12 feet, a delight

Bird of southern ocean and north pacific

Float on sea surface, vulnerable to predators aquatic

Albatross, a symbolic good omen

For ancient mariners, a good luck sign

High efficient fliers in air

Scientists learn a lot from flight of theirs

Birds use dynamic soaring and slope soaring to cover

Large   distance over   Sea ,  no  exertion  whatsoever

Dynamic soaring benefitting from vertical gradient in air

Raising into wind and descend down as they desire

Slope soaring uses rising windward side of large waves

A slope drop of 1 meter, takes it forward 22 meters

Can fly 1000 kilometers a day, without flapping wings

South to north clockwise or north to south anti clockwise routes

Air planes and drones designers, learn a lot from you

Johannes Traugott  , German scientist got a patent on this

Albatross lives for fifty years to sixty years

Love their natural colony to breed and parenting days
