Our father Doraiswami Iyengar born in PV KALATHUR
In year 1898, to Srinivasa Chari and Kalyani
He was a post graduate MA LT in those days
Rare to see people of high qualification those days
He served as Headmaster in SV High school Tirupati and Vellore
He married Vijaya lakshmi and settled in Tirupati after Vellore
He was 6 feet tall and well built, a majestic personality
He was a strict disciplinarian. Students used to fear
He taught English and history
He took pleasure in bringing up his children nicely
He used to help his children in studies, writing notes
And asking questions and wanted them to be on their toes
He was fond of Cricket and played Badminton
He used to note down the scores in his score board
And present to children on return from school
He taught us values in life
Hard work, honesty, dedication always in life pays
He had a big family of Eleven children
He gave them all good education
