ARCHES NATIONAL PARK
Story of Arches 65 million years old
A dry bed of ocean spreading horizon to horizon
You stand and watch its beauty , red rocks standout
What we see today , a buried of thousand years back
An uncovered stand stones
Landscape story slowly began to change
Geological forces wrinkled and folded
The buried sandstones , like folding of rug
Makes lump across the middle
Called anti chimes
Sandstones warped
Fractures tore through it
Establishing patterns of rock sculpture
Devil’s garden, striking rock features
Carved over thousands of years
Arches formed as a result of erosion
Through weak spots of sandstone fins of Jurasic age Dewey Bridge
Park has two hundred or so arches
