Forests our planet’s vital eco system
Storage houses for carbon dioxide in them
Water cycle and climate regulators
Plant and animal life supporters.
On forest floors, trees towers tall
Sun shine and rain on them first to fall
Bountiful shades their canopy offers
Like loving mother’s knitted scarfs for daughters.
Lush green forests green and cool
Find lakes, streams or water pools
Water pouring down, low or high heights
Sights and sound , memorable emotional sights
Oh cutting down trees and tearing seas
In name of progress tragedies
Preserve nature to see, touch and hear
For all generations, an eternal pleasure.
