Lord Srinivasa,all pervading god recides

In garbha gruha of sanctum sanctorum

Beneath gold gilded dome

Called Ananda nilaya divya vaikuntha

Swayabhu lord Srinivasa

Lord who came to earth to trace

His consort Mahalaksmi and embrace

His weapon shanku, chakra and gadha

His mount garuda

With his consorts  Padmavathi and Lakshmi

On his right and left chest

Presents Kaliyuga sarva rakshaka

Wanted Seshachala on heaven

Lord asked Adisesha to be on Seshadri hill

He loves to recline on him well

 A princess, Gandharva beauty

Saw  on Srinivasa’s head, bald patch

Due to hit from a shepherd on head

“ A lovely prince, I hate hairless patch on his head

I offer my hair, he can get rid of patch

He will be very nice to watch”

Srinivasa pleased with Neela’s act

Named  the hill as Neeladri, for her gracious act.

Lived happily the couple

Near Thambura theertha of Tirumala

Lived Lord Siva devotee

Vrushasabhasura, a demon  funny.

Used to cut off his head daily

Lord Siva restored it back immediately

Lord Siva offered him a boon

He chose to fight with Lord Siva, as a boon

Fight lasted many days

Vrushahasura  lost anyway

Begged  for naming the hill in his name

Siva named it as VRUSHABADRI, mark of salvation
